This young athlete boasts considerable online following

The young golfer will have numerous prominent backers as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and often matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with her mother.

"He is the best player globally," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He told me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.

The young star has millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
